Vacation in Bali is always fantastic and fun. Bali is unique because of the art, culture, people, religion, custom, temple, houses, agriculture, landscape and other aspects. You must go to Bali to learn and feel a real Bali. One of the Balinese arts is Pendet Dance. Traditional Balinese dances are the oldest form of performing arts in Bali. Traditional dances can be divided into two types, sacred dance called Wali and entertainment dance called Bebalihan. Tari Pendet or Pendet dance is the presentation of an offering in the form of a ritual d ance. Unlike the exhibition dances that demand arduous training, Pendet may be danced by everyone: male and female pemangkus, women and girls of the village. It is taught simply by imitation and is seldom practiced in the banjars. Younger girls follow the movements of the elder women who recognize their responsibility in setting a good example. As a religious dance, Pendet is usually performed during temple ceremonies.
